The MFI 120-10-00 model Hammer Mill, with a speed of 1400/1480 rpm, has a large sieve surface and, depending on the installed power, ensures a large quantity of ground product. With a one-piece structure resting on anti-vibration supports, the frame is made of thick steel sections, as are all the elements that make it up, which are welded and/or bolted together. The motor is mounted on a one-piece crankcase and is connected to the drive shaft by means of a flexible coupling.
The side panels provide easy access to the grinding chamber for the tilting and replacement of worn hammers and easy replacement of the grinding screens. The upper and lower armor plates are also easy to replace. To ensure the operator’s safety when working on the panels, electromechanical locks have been installed so that they can only be opened when the machine is at a complete standstill.
The inverter control system allows the grain size to be varied without having to change the screens.
Thanks to the dynamically balanced rotor and the robustness of the entire unit, the machine has a high degree of stability. As previously mentioned, the mill can accommodate a variety of motor sizes by simply adjusting the motor housing and mounting base.
